Does The Healing Sanctuary only offer Functional or Alternative Treatments?
Actually, that’s not true! At The Healing Sanctuary, we provide a combination of traditional and alternative medicine. While many of our alternative treatments are cash pay, we can bill insurance for office visits and lab work.
Are the Functional and Integrative therapies covered by Insurance?
Unfortunately, many of these evidence-based therapies are not typically covered by insurance. However, we advocate for their use because they can significantly improve health and address underlying medical conditions, potentially reducing or eliminating the need for some (or even all) medications. Our goal is to treat the root cause of the issue, so you don’t have to rely on medications to manage symptoms.
Is This Billable to My Insurance?
All standard office visits/labs are billable to insurance.
How Much of This Will My Insurance Cover?
Each plan varies, so we advise reaching out to your insurance provider for clarification.
Deductible vs Coinsurance vs Copay
Deductible: an amount of money a person pays for covered health care services before their insurance company starts paying.
Coinsurance: a percentage of the allowed amount (by their insurance) the patient is responsible for paying.
Copay: a set amount (set by your insurance) you need to pay prior to your appointment.
