Carl Stoddard is an accomplished Senior Executive and Board Member with more than 20 years of success across the medical, finance, insurance, technology, and software industries. Leveraging extensive experience in corporate finance, he is a valuable asset for companies struggling with profit and loss management, developing their business model, or implementing new accounting systems and
metrics. His broad areas of expertise include strategic planning and implementation, financial analysis, business development, financial acumen, profit and loss, and budgets.
Throughout his career, Carl has held various leadership positions with organizations including Dealership Management Systems, Easyway Software, e-ASG, SCF Arizona, AMI Semiconductor, and ON Semiconductor. In 2009, he founded Doctors CFO where he currently serves as President and in 2015, he founded Effortless Accounting where he also serves as a board member.
Carl has had tremendous success over the years and has served as a key contributor to numerous organizational achievements. As the Business Unit Controller for ON Semiconductor, he was responsible for profit and loss management for seven separate statements that totaled over $300M. Carl founded Doctors CFO as a way to work directly with physicians who own their own practices; he has worked with numerous clients in the healthcare space, in both single-practice and multi-practice capacities, and has helped them find financial stability, growth, and expansion. Additionally, he founded Effortless Accounting to provide accounting and payroll services for small businesses through innovative
Carl received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Idaho State University and his Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University. He frequently participates in continuing education and professional development and is a Diamond Status Certified QuickBooks Advanced Online Proadvisor. In addition to his formal education, Carl has a wealth of knowledge in the roles and responsibilities of a board member having worked alongside board leadership on numerous projects throughout his career.
Devan is part of the administrative team here at the Healing Sanctuary. He has worked here for about a year, and has thoroughly enjoyed it. He spends most of his time working in various
administrative tasks that he hopes makes the lives of both the patients and staff a little bit easier,
Devan was born in a small town in California named Visalia. He moved to Idaho in order to pursue greater educational opportunities, and will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration. He was married in October 2018 to the love of his life and is excited to spend the rest of forever with her. When Devan is not working, he is typically studying or doing homework; however, If he has a free moment, he enjoys spending it with his wife. Devan and his wife met at a pool and subsequently spends a lot of time around the water. They enjoy anything that has to do with water. They also enjoy other outdoor activities like camping, hiking, and sports.
Devan’s time and The Healing Sanctuary has taught him that taking care of ourselves and our bodies is the best medicine. If we fall ill, we should look at the root problem rather than treating the symptoms. A holistic integrative approach to medicine offers benefits that cannot be found elsewhere. The Healing Sanctuary is a gem for our patients and him.
Director of Personnel
Thalia Parkinson is our Director of Personnel, she has 5 years of customer service experience and a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration. Her primary focus in the clinic is administration, management, and human resources. Thalia is always striving to deliver quality performance to the team and develops protocols that create efficiency and excellent patient care. Thalia and her husband Shane spend their free time with their two little dogs enjoying the outdoors.
Nancy Rydalch is the Vice President at The Healing Sanctuary. Nancy graduated from National University in La Jolla, CA with her Bachelors in Business dministration. She is often found behind the scenes, but she plays an enormous role in patients’ healing journeys at The Healing Sanctuary. She has extensive experience with the many moving parts of an integrative medical center. She began 2016 working as the office manager of Wholesome Health with Dr. Laramie Wheeler. She is very knowledgeable in the different modalities of healing including office visits, IV therapies, supplements, prescription medications, and other therapies. She understands the complexities of insurance companies and knows the frustrations patients run into as they get to the root of their medical conditions. She believes in the healing arts and is working daily to create a medical team that is smoothly running and dedicated to you!
When Nancy isn’t working she and her husband, Nathan, and their 5 daughters enjoying spending their time golfing, hiking, and camping.
Hyperbaric Chamber Technician (overnight)
Keigan is a hyperbaric chamber technician, and is also a student at BYU-I. He has a passion for helping others and a degree approaching fast on the horizon. He serves as one of the many guides dedicated to helping people get their health and life back on track. While you are experiencing the state-of-the-art Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy you can rest easy knowing you are in capable hands. On top of extensive training, Keigan holds full certifications in CPR and AED. He also enjoys ballroom dance, broadcasting, and taking on various editing projects in his free time, as well as the occasional Netflix binge. Emily is our Marketing Specialist here at The Healing Sanctuary. She helps schedule the events that take place in the ballroom. She is also over recruiting at CR Prime. Emily loves working with and helping people. She grew up in Iona, Idaho and still lives here with her husband and three kids. Her career started as a dental assistant, and from there she found a love for assisting offices in becoming
more efficient with their protocols and software as well as improving their marketing. Then her career branched into the medical field where she continues to assist with the office flow, communications, and marketing. Emily enjoys spending time with her family. They enjoy the outdoors, razor riding, snowmobiling, camping, and traveling. Emily loves being apart of The Healing Sanctuary.
Gabriela is a Research Coordinator here, at The Healing Sanctuary, where she has the opportunity to guide and educate patients on research studies from start to finish. She graduated from Eastern Idaho Technical College in 2016 as a Medical Assistant. She is a NNCT, Phlebotomy and IV certified. Since she has graduated, she has the opportunity to gain experience in integrative and OBG/YN care. She really enjoys working at The Healing Sanctuary, because it is the best of both worlds for this type of care. She is bilingual and that is a huge help to the clinic.
Gabriela was born and raised in Mexico. She became a resident of Idaho in 2008, and is loving it so far. She really enjoys the outdoors. In her free time, depending on the season, she likes to go swimming, snowboarding, hiking, biking, riding, and most importantly take naps. She loves meeting new people.
Director of Research (Clinical Research Prime)
Nora is the Director of Research for CR Prime. She is fluent in Spanish. Nora grew up in Rigby,
Idaho. She is married and has a son and two daughters. She finds happiness in assisting others. Nora loves having the opportunity to help and treat patients while furthering medicine. Her and her family like to venture into the outdoors to go camping and fishing. They enjoy watching movies together as well as playing soccer. Her family is the main focus of her life.
Clinical Prime Research Quality Compliance Officer
Dalan started in CR Prime in August of 2018. He graduated from Rick’s College in 1984 with an AS in Health Science with an emphasis on emergency medicine, with a certification as a Nationally Certified Emergency Medical Technician. He is fluent in Spanish, having served an LDS mission in Spain in 1981-1982. He volunteered on the Shelley-Firth Quick Response Unit for 5 years from 1991-1995. Dalan also has 14 years of experience in medical transcription to connected to Social Security Disability,covering documents including pediatric, internal medicine, vision, and psychiatric evaluation. He currently is the Quality Compliance Officer for CR Prime. He is the father of 8 children, and he and his wife are expecting their 19 th and 20 th grandchild in August. He loves to be with his family and enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
Research Assistant (CR Prime)
Rebecca is a research assistant for CR Prime. She is going on 19 years of marriage and she has 3 sons. Alex – 18, Lorenzo – 15, and Kaleb – 5. They are her life and they keep her very busy. Her hobbies are watching her boys play baseball, camping, and just spending time with her family. She is new to the medical field, it was her lifelong dream to be in this type of setting. Life went a different direction for her although she worked for 15 years at a Non-Profit organization which was amazing. Just last July she was offered the opportunity with Clinical Research Prime and knew She just had to take the dive, and she is happy that she did. Rebecca has enjoyed this new experience and the patients are just amazing. She can’t wait to expand her knowledge and be able to better serve the department and patients.
Traci is a certified medical assistant at The Healing Sanctuary. She grew up in Shelley, Idaho. She is married and now lives in Idaho Falls. She enjoys going to the gym, and spending time with her family. Traci loves what she does as a Medical Assistant and could not imagine not working in the medical field.
Debbie is our infusion nurse who has been with us since August 2018. She was born and raised in Rigby, Idaho. She graduated from Idaho State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She stepped away from work in order to raise her five children, and then returned to the workforce. She is very proud of her five grandchildren, and loves to utilize her spare time to be with her family. She is passionate about the “one on one care.” She enjoys watching cooking shows, and then trying new recipes.
Tara is a medical assistant as well as a scribe for Dr. Baker. She moved from Northern California to Idaho with her husband and daughter. Her and her family were looking for a more wholesome area to life. She always wanted to be involved in the medical field. Tara enjoys working in a clinic that offers functional western medicine and an OB. She and her family enjoy being busy and hanging out as a family. She liked to cook, bake, eat what has just been cooked and bakes, clean, and shop.
Samantha grew up farming with her family in Roberts, Idaho. She graduated Stevens Henagar College about two years ago. Sam has a daughter and they both enjoy swimming together. Some of her hobbies include horseback riding, camping, fishing, snowboarding, and playing video games. She enjoys Star Wars and attending comic-con events.
Medical Assistant (HBOT)
Jordyn oversees the hyperbaric treatments here at The Healing Sanctuary. She grew up in Chubbuck, Idaho. She served a religious mission in Chicago, Illinois. Jordyn received her medical qualifications from Idaho State University while she was still in High School. She plays rugby and runs half marathons. She enjoys hiking, fishing, camping, and horseback riding.
Medical Assistant (HBOT)
Mireya is a medical assistant with a 2 + years of experience. She is fluent in Spanish, and grew up in Blackfoot, Idaho. Mireya graduated from Idaho State University. She loves traveling, and has lived in 2 countries in Europe. You can find her hiking mountains, canoeing in lakes, or next to a campfire. She is a plant mom, and a foody. What she loves the most about her job is participating in the healing of the patient.
Leigh has been very lucky to work in ultrasound for the last 10 years. Her career started in Salt Lake City working for Jordan Valley Hospital and the University of Utah where she learned from some of the best doctors and technicians. For the last seven years Leigh working in Ogden, Utah and the Ogden Clinic and enjoyed her time there. Now she feels very fortunate to have landed at The Healing Sanctuary, and she loves working here.
Leigh’s husband was given the opportunity to work in Idaho Falls for a local hospital and they decided to make the move here last year. She has 5 adult children, and is looking forward to grandchildren soon. Leigh has 1 They have loved being able to start a new adventure in Idaho. The people are so kind and wonderful. She also has 1 Arabian horse that she shows in national shows. She loves to run and loves to be with her family.
Shereen is our experienced IV nurse. Shereen has had a passion for helping people all of her life. She started early in life as a hospital Candy Striper Volunteer and later received her Bachelors in Nursing from Weber State University. She has worked with infants at Primary Children’s Hospital then transitioned into Hospice care for adults. She learned a lot about integrative medicine and treatments working under Dr. Laramie Wheeler. Shereen is passionate about helping her patients obtain the highest quality of life through compassionate care.
Kassie is the nursing supervisor at The Healing Sanctuary. She grew up here in Idaho Falls. She graduated from Steven Henanger in 2012 to be a Medical Assistant. She is married and has a little boy. She enjoys riding a side-by-side with her family and camping. Kassie loves working with Dr. Baker, specifically the OB patients. She enjoys participating from pregnancy to birth, especially when they come in and she gets to see the babies.
Gloria works in reception handling phone calls and scheduling. Her favorite part of working at The Healing Sanctuary is watching patients leave with smiles on their faces from their experiences here. Gloria has such a love for helping people and it shows in her daily interactions with the patients. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, and making delicious treats in the kitchen. In the future she hopes to travel and spend more time in the sun with her husband.
Madi works in reception, and help check patients in and out, grab supplements, and scheduling. She has really have loved working here, and the people she has met have been very helpful and kind to her, as well as the patients which is by far the most important. She have always loved and been drawn to the healthcare field. Growing up her mom was a nurse, and all the stuff she would share about her job was fascinating. Madi began working as a CNA when she graduated high school. She will soon start getting most of her perquisites for the nursing program done, and is beyond excited. Madi loves getting to know patients and helping in anyway she can. In her freetime, Madison enjoys hiking, camping, watching movies, and exploring new places with her fiance.
Courtney handles checking patients in, phone calls, and scheduling appointments. Her favorite
part of working here is watching patients progress and heal. Courtney was raised in Rigby, Idaho where she still resides. She enjoys spending time hiking and swimming with her daughter. She has a passion for the medical field and is working on a degree as a medical assistant, and hopes to eventually become a
She is what you call an “Air Force Brat.” She has moved around her whole life. She served a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of latter-Day Saints in Oporto, Portugal. She is a transplant from Seattle, Washington, then moved to the Blackfoot area to be closer to family and to help her parents due to some heath concerns. She has been in the medical field for the last 26 years, and has worked in reception, customer service, a medical biller, as well as collector. She is now currently
furthering her education through the Pathways Program. She enjoys being in our Billing Department, and helping patients understand their insurance coverage, as well as helping our facility grow and prosper.
