Building Update – Masonry, Ramp and Finish Carpentry

Masonry, Ramp and Finish Carpentry

It’s been a little bit since we shared progress on our building renovations. Here is a quick photo update. Many different things are all happening at once, keeping us on our toes.

First, we have the masonry restoration well underway. Looking closely at the courtyard photo, the new pilaster crowns are in place on the right side and the old, damaged crowns are still visible on the left of the image:

Second, our handicap access ramp is coming along nicely, leading to the elevator lobby. No shoveling this ramp! It comes with built-in heat to melt snow and ice:

Thirdly, our tilesetter has started his work. That’s tumbled marble in the restroom and drystack on the wall:

Lastly, the finish carpenters are working hard to get trim done:

We are racing to finish, hopefully by end of August. We’ll keep you posted with our progress!
